MyBB Merge System 1.6.1 is now available on the MyBB website and is a maintenance update to the MyBB Merge 1.6 series.
This release is to ensure that all users of MyBB Merge 1.6 have the latest fixes.
This release fixes several reported issues since the release of 1.6.0, which caused some incorrect functionality of the Merge System. These bugs have been fixed to provide a more stable version of for public use.
What’s fixed in this version?

- Folder renamed from “convert” to “merge” inside the zip, to make it consistent with the fact that this is a Merge System, not a Converter.

MyBB Blog 
I am trying to install MyBB 1.6 and I get stuck after filling in the data for the databank. I push “continue” and nothing happens. When I try to enter the board via “index.php” I get a message “MyBB Error (41)”
What should I do?

I don’t know why you’re asking for support in comments on a blog post, especially on a post about the Merge System. Make a support thread, and we’ll be able to actually do something.

Does it convert from VB 4.1?
I can only see vb3 in the package but there are some guys on the forum who converted from VB4.
The vB4 module is in the svn as a Beta. The ones who have done vB so far have done it using the vB3 module.
